Electrotechnical Basic Laboratory

WS21/22 Return to regular attendance

According to the email from the president dated 3.9.2021, we expect the basic laboratory to return to attendance mode in the winter semester. However, there are still some open questions regarding the hygiene concept, in particular regarding the ventilation system.

Please watch out for announcements in Stud.IP.

Please note:

From summer semester 2022, the two courses "Electrical Engineering Laboratory Part I" and "Basic Electrical Engineering Laboratory Part II" will be combined into one course for the degree programms in mechanical engineering and production and logistics and offered every semester.

The previous regulation that Laboratory Part I was only offered in the winter semester and Part II only in the summer semester was criticized by many students in the past.

The new regulation eliminates waiting semesters, and in addition, the course with 4 lab days can be better integrated into the semester schedule.

It is recommended to take the course in the 3rd semester (or after passing the ET 1 and ET2 exam). In case of good success in the ET1 exam and active participation in the ET2 exercise, participation is also possible parallel to the ET2 lecture.

Due to the changeover, no ET lab will be offered in WS 21/22.

Students who have already passed the laboratory part 1 only have to perform the 2 experiments for part II.
